It finally feels like spring! The flowers are blooming, the grass is green, and the days are getting warmer! It’s the perfect time to schedule a photo session.
Family, maternity, engagement, wedding…whatever you are looking for I know we can get some gorgeous springtime photos.
Let’s not forget our four-legged companions either! They are also part of the family.
For more information send me an email at email@example.com, and we can get a date scheduled to preserve special memories for you and your family.
I was gone for two and a half weeks…the longest I’ve ever been away from Nala. I knew she was in GREAT and capable hands, our dog sitters and her Nanny & Grampi, but still I missed her. It’s so nice to be back and just enjoy a nice walk with her on such a warm and sunny day even though she hasn’t been the best listener since I got back. 😉 We have some work to do on that! Pretty soon, there will be two babes I get to walk with…can’t wait for Nala to meet her new sister.
Walking with Nala always puts a smile on my face. We enjoyed a nice family walk today down by the Columbia River…it was windy but the wind was surprisingly warm.
After receiving some sad news today, I decided to look through some photos I took back in the summer of some very special dogs. These dogs, 4 German Shepherds, are some of the most loved dogs around. I know because their human is also very special and has a passion and heart for all dogs, especially these ones. It was obvious they love her just as much as she loves them…the way they looked at her and followed her around said it all.
It is with a sad heart that I share the news that within the past month she has had to say goodbye to two of her dear and beloved friends, Max & Taj. Her two loveable boys are gone, but will never be forgotten. Their sweet and playful spirits will live on, and I truly hope that the good memories they shared will be a comfort to her right now.
Everyone has their own beliefs, but I would like to think that where ever Max & Taj are, they are sharing a drink like in the picture above and happy to be together again…running, playing, chasing balls, and chasing the waterhose and string they loved so much.
We took Nala out for a walk today to a spot she hasn’t been to in a while. The day could not have been better…the leaves and sky were gorgeous and it was just the perfect temperature. Nala enjoyed sniffing new things and exploring. I think my girl is gorgeous all the time, but she is especially beautiful and regal among the fall foliage.
No reason for this picture other than I think it’s too darn cute not to share, but then again I am biased! 😉
My sweet Nala is still not back to her normal self…her tendonitis is still causing her pain and discomfort. I know it takes a long time for this kind of thing, but I can’t stand it. I wish I could do something…I would give anything to see her happy and running around with her friends again. I miss those days and if I miss them, I can only imagine how she must feel.
