Baby Matthew

This sweet little peanut is Matthew.  He is the 7 week old (about 5 weeks in the photos) baby of my friend and neighbor, Marilee.  Marilee and her husband, Pete, moved in next to us when she was about 4 1/2 months pregnant and I was about 7 1/2 months pregnant.  Of course, I thought it was so neat to have another preggo lady on the block so I introduced myself.  Since that time, we have both had our little bundles of joy and have gotten to know each other and we have become friends.  Let me just say how wonderfully refreshing it is to have such awesome neighbors!   Anyway, back to the little cutie in the photos…Marilee brought Matthew over a couple of weeks ago and I snapped a few photos of him.  I just love all of his expressions and although our photo session was short I think I got some cute ones of the little guy.

He was so alert on this day and just checking everything out in his new surroundings.  Check out the little bit of hair sticking up…SO adorable!

This one I just love in B&W…I think it’s very dreamy and especially endearing how he is looking up like he is deep in thought.  If only we could read the minds of our little ones. I hope you enjoy the photos Marilee & Pete!
